Haz-Waste, Inc. is committed to providing the highest level of service while realizing that liability protection for our clients is of utmost importance. The following aspects of our Quality Assurance Program ensures that our customers are protected:
Environmental Compliance- Haz-Waste, Inc. conducts a comprehensive audit in evaluating any potential transporter, recycler, end user, sub-contractor and disposal facilities that will be used to accomplish our clients' goals and objectives. These audits include the following aspects:
Compliance History Location relative to Residential Areas Insurance Financial Strength Environmental Justice History Employment Practices Business Practices Health and Safety Practices Environmental compliance also is reviewed on behalf of our clients to ensure their practices, at the plant level conform to ever changing federal, state and local regulations.
Health and Safety- Haz-Waste, Inc. has a comprehensive Health & Safety Plan. Our overall plan is reviewed and changed relative to health and safety needs for a specific client and project. Since Haz-Waste, Inc. was founded in 1993, we have had Zero OSHA reported accidents and no loss time accidents. Our sub-contractors have had no loss time or OSHA reported accidents at our work sites.
Pollution Prevention- In developing pollution prevention programs for our customers Haz-Waste, Inc. strives to reduce wastes generated, thereby improve efficiencies in the manufacturing process, controlling costs and creating a safer work environment.
Waste Minimization- Generators of hazardous waste are required to develop waste minimization programs. Haz-Waste, Inc. partners with our clients to develop waste minimization programs reducing waste and liability for a plant.
Insurance- Haz-Waste, Inc. maintains insurance for general liability, automobile liability, professional services liability, pollution liability, and worker's compensation. Our sub-contractors are also required to maintain the same coverage.
